For 28 years, Lollapalooza has been one of the world’s premiere festivals, bringing tens of thousands of music fans from around the world to their iconic festival experience in the heart of downtown Chicago. Pro-Ject partnered with Lollapalooza and its producer C3 Presents to bring to life their re-imagined vision for one of the festival’s key moments: a livestream of the 2019 lineup announcement.

Working alongside our partners Odd Machine and Ojo Customs, we collaboratively produced “the puppy playpen” featured in Lollapalooza’s YouTube live-stream. As cameras rolled, the playpen hosted puppies playing with toys and finding treats while Lollapalooza revealed (through clues, hints and visual cues) a handful of acts from their 2019 lineup while driving awareness to PAWS Chicago.

This playpen was specially fabricated to compliment Odd Machine’s filming techniques and use of equipment, while the vinyl wrapping of Chicago’s skyline and the playpen finishes were assured to withstand all those puppies.

A huge thanks goes out to all of our partners involved in this fun Lollapalooza project. If you’d like to learn more about volunteering and/or adoption opportunities with PAWS, visit the PAWS Chicago website. We’re pleased to hear that all of the puppies featured in the lineup reveal have since been adopted via PAWS Chicago.

Lollapalooza will be held August 1-4th 2019 at Chicago’s Grant Park. Tickets are on-sale now. The lineup features headliners Ariana Grande, Childish Gambino, Twenty One Pilots, The Strokes, Tame Impala, Flume, The Chainsmokers and J Balvin. See the full lineup at Lollapalooza.com.
